Art Boxes

Each year, the Charles County Arts Alliance (CCAA) prepares 500 “Back to School” Art Boxes and donates these boxes to the Charles County Children’s Aid Society for distribution at the beginning of the school year to needy elementary school children in our county. These art boxes are plastic containers filled with art supplies such as crayons, colored pencils, erasers, scissors, school glue bottles, glue sticks and #2 pencils, to ensure that these young students get a great “head start in art” in the coming school year.

Funding for this year’s art boxes has been made possible through the Charles County Charitable Trust and the Walmart Foundation.
